Counselling

Divorce Counselling

Divorce can be painful for both partners, especially if they start their marriage with the promise they will remain together for life. The bonds of attachment are not just legal, they are emotional and are not (in most cases) simply dissolved by a court of law.

The decision to marry each other is filled with emotion, and so too is divorce or separation. There can be anger, frustration, hurt and betrayal; each of which need to be dealt with alongside the practicalities of divorce/separation.

Working through the emotional stress of divorce can leave you feeling drained and angry. I am an independent advisor who can help you manage the many feelings that surface while going through a divorce, and if necessary continue to offer support for a period thereafter.

Employment Counselling

Most people who enter into disputes with their former employers can encounter negative patterns of thinking that can stretch to all areas of their lives. If you are in the process of an Employment Tribunal I can offer support and counseling that will enable you to focus on trying to achieve a successful outcome, without letting the dispute adversely affect other aspects of day to day living.

A series of open questions are designed to establish the depth of any anxiety, and how best to manage the emotions you are experiencing during the tribunal process. Counseling will ultimately increase confidence, remove negativity and empower you to continue as normal during this difficult and challenging time.
